Video operator Andrei Kozel was beaten and detained at a polling station in Minsk's Central District. Witnesses says the incident happened during the counting of votes on the local elections day. Kozel sustained a head injury. Volha Cajcyc writes on Facebook "a glass door was smashed through by his head." The operator was taken to the Central District police station, charged with attack on police officers.

Kozel cooperates as a freelancer with the Polish Belarusian-language TV channel Belsat.
