Bulgaria to ease visa regime for Belarus citizens

Bulgaria will ease visa regime for citizens of Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine and Russia effective from June 15. The measure aims to boost the flow of travelers. Bulgaria was a popular destination for citizens from the former Soviet countries before it entered the European Union. Belapan news agency reports that visas to tourist groups will be processed within 10 days since application. Free visas will be issued to students, sportsmen and cultural figures who visit Bulgaria to participate in international sport, cultural and art events.

The cost of a Bulgarian visa for adults is 60 euros; for children between 6 and 12 years -- 35 euros. Children before 6 years will get visas free of charge.
