Bread, milk and public transport tickets to become more expensive in Belarus

The Belarusian government is planning to increase the retail price of bread, bakery goods and dairy products soon. The deputy Minister of Economy Uladzimir Adashkevich has informed about it. The price of bread will increase by 2.5-3%, milk – by 2% in August and by 2% in September, reports “Interfax”. Moreover, it was already announced that Minsk authorities had increased the price of public transport tickets.

One bus, trolleybus, tram or metro ticket will cost 600 BRB. A privilege ticket will cost 300 BRB. Tickets bought for 500 and 250 BRB will be valid for 10 days after the tariffs are changed. At the same time, season tickets for two kinds of public transport including the metro will be reintroduced and will cost 31500 rubles. Express bus tickets will now cost 900 and the privilege tickets will cost 450 BRB.
