Belavia hopes no extra expenditures are needed to continue flights to EU

Belarus' national flag carrier Belavia expects to continue flying to EU member states from 2012 without the additional expenditures to cover fares for the hazardous waste. The European Union earlier put three Belarus air companies -- Belavia, Rubistar and Genex -- on the list of airlines banned to fly to the airports of the EU for three years.
Italy is expected to monitor the situation with Belavia's pollution concerns from 2010, reports the Interfax news agency.
