Belarusians to pay 100% for utilities in 2017
This target is part of the Balanced Economic Development Plan for 2014-2015.
The plan was approved by the government in August, BelaPAN reports. The government explains the goal by ‘the necessity to liquidate cross-subsidization’.
The population paid only for 23.7% of the real cost of communal services in the first quarter of 2014, Minister of Communal Services Andrei Shorats claimed last week.
