Belarus may be deprived of two Olympic medals. The International Olympic Committee and the International Association of track-and-field athletics federations will inform about two positive doping tests received at a track-and-field athletics tournament in Beijing. A forbidden substance testosterone is said to have been found in the tests of famous Belarusians hammer throwers, winners of the gold and silver medals of Olumpcis-2008 Vadzim Dzevyatouski and Ivan Tsihan.

The “Pressball” newspaper refers to the agency “All sport” and informs that their doping tests taken after the final on August 17 revealed the usage of a forbidden substance testosterone.

Dzevyatouski was disqualified for using forbidden substances in 2000-2002 which may result in a lifetime disqualification now. Tsihan has never had problems of the kind before.
