Belarusian smugglers transport 5 tons of metal to Ukraine
Ukrainian customs officers detained two Belarusian citizens suspected of smuggling of scrap metal in Valynskaya Region which is not far from the border.
The young people were riding a motorbike without number plates. Frontier guards had found an empty “ZIL” without number plates having 5 tons of scrap metal inside not far from the place.
The detained Belarusians deny any connection to the smuggled metal. At the same time, the customs service notes that they will have to give account for illegal crossing of the border and for smuggling.
