Belarusian Paralympians awarded with summer trips to Kaliningrad Oblast

Zelenogradsk authorities (Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia) have made Andrei Fomachkin, head of the winter sports department of the Belarusian Ministry of Sport and Tourism, an honorary citizen.

Head of the region Anton Alikhanov awarded the Belarusian sports official with a medal dated for the 70th anniversary of Kaliningrad Oblast, Izvestiya reports. Furthermore, Kaliningrad authorities have presented trips to the Russian shore of the Baltic Sea to all the members of the Belarusian Paralympic team.

Fomachkin visited Kaliningrad Oblast at the beginning of November. Belarusians brought five flags to the Paralympics to make sure that at least one of them   would be hoisted, ok-inform.ru quotes him. Fomachkin presented one the flags to Alikhanov.

 

Russians presented a flat in Moscow area to Fomachkin earlier.
