Belarusian enterprises cut wage arrears ahead of election
As of October 1, Belarusian enterprises had wage arrears reduced ten fold from over Br276 billion in early September down to around Br28 billion, reports the Belarus Statistics Committee.
As of September 1, 432 Belarusian enterprises (mostly construction and agricultural) had wage arrears with 68 000 Belarusians not getting their salaries. By October 1, only 13 enterpirses across Belarus indebted salaries to 1300 workers.
