Belarusian CEC member murdered in her Minsk flat
Central Elections Commission member Svyatlana Hinevich died on August 4, but the information has appeared only today.
“CEC member Svyatlana Hinevich has died tragically,” CEC website reports.
Svyatlana Hinevich’s son found her stabbed to death at home, CEC secretary Mikalai Lazavik told BelaPAN.
Svyatlana Hinevich was born in Minsk in 1959. She graduated from BSU in 1981.
Svyatlana became CEC in December 2011. She was head of the personnel and ideology department of the President’s Administration back then.
Hinevich was head of the personnel department at Kryshtal plant before her death.
