Belarusian mountaineers found dead in Kamchatka

The group wasn't registered in the search-and-rescue detachment. According to RIA Novosti, 2 Belarusians actually climbed the volcano. They did not return to the camp at due time, so six their friends decided to organize the searching operation by themselves, but failed.

The rescuers of Russia's Ministry for Emergency Situations joined the search on Mi-8 helicopter on July 11. They examined the volcano and landed a group at the height of about 2 700 meters. This morning it became known that the rescuers found the bodies of the missing alpinists on the eastern flank at the height of about 3 400 meters.
