Belarusian Aleh Navitski to fly to space again

ISS partners have confirmed the expedition staff for the autumn of 2016. Belarusian born in Cherven Aleh Navitski will fly to the space station again, yasnonews.ru reports.

Navitski will represent Russia. He will join the expedition on Soyuz together with American Peggy Whitson and Frenchman Thomas Pesquet. The expedition will be launched in September 2016.

Three colleagues will join the astronauts on March 30, 2017 – Russians Alexander Misurkin and Nikolai Tikhonov and American Mark Thomas Vande Hei.

The astronauts will return home on Aril 28, 2017. Belarusian Navitski was a mission captain at the ISS in 2012-2013. A special commission announced that Navitski was suitable for space flights after his return.
