Belarus voted at the UN Third Committee against a resolution on human rights violations in Crimea. "In Minsk, it is "Moscow time"... This is not a neutral position - rather totally clear," Ukrainian Parliament's First Deputy Speaker Irina Geraschenko wrote on Facebook. She described the resolution as "very important." Over 70 countries voted in favor, almost the same number abstained and 25 countries, including Belarus and Russia voted against. Geraschenko is outraged that Belarus "the country which has ambitions for some peacemaking role" and provides a venue for the Donbass crisis resolution  "has once again failed to have enough neutrality to express a stance different from the one of the Russian Federation."

“This is a second time Ukraine got stabbed in the back..." the Ukrainian official wrote.

Euroradio reported earlier that in December 2016 Belarus voted at the UN General Assembly against the resolution human rights violations in Crimea and Sevastopol. Before the vote, Belarus had also attempted to block the resolution.
