Belarus votes contra Crimea resolution at UN

The United Nations General Assembly's Third Committee on 15 November approved a draft of the resolution on human rights violations in Crimea and Sevastopol. 67 countries have voted pro, 82 abstained and 26 delegations voted contra.

The Ukraine representative has named the states that voted contra: Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Bolivia, Burundi, Cambodia, China, Cuba, the DPRK, Eritrea, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Serbia, the South African Republic, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.

The draft will be considered by the UN General Assembly. The voting is expected in December.
