Belarus, St Petersburg agree three-year cooperation deal

Belarus PM Sergei Sidorski and St Petersburg Governor Valentina Matviyenko today signed a program of trade and economic, science and technical and humanitarian cooperation betweem Belarus and Russia's northern capital, reports Regnum.
Under the program, milk producers from Belarus will be able to build retails networks in st Petersburg, while the enterprises from St Petersburg will invest in their dairies, potato and vegetable processing lines that will supply products back to Russia.

The Russian city will also export steel products and upgrade the factories in Belarus.

The sides will also cooperate to develop a new air traffic control systems for the Belarusian airports as well as electronic parking control technologies.
