Belarus skier Siarhei Dalidovich fundraises enough money for Olympic Games

A Belarusian skier who attended six Olympic Games Siarhei Dalidovich has collected enough money to take part in his seventh Olympics. As of writing, he has fundraised Br30300 (approximately $15000) or slightly more the required Br 30 000 via the Belarusian crowdfunding platform talaka.by with 47 days to go to the end of the campaign.

The 44-yeard-old skier was left out of Team Belarus due to age but Siarhei Dalidovich is set to prove he can properly represent his country at the 2018 Olympic Games. In order to compete at the Games, the athlete must take part in the qualifying competitions and attend training camps abroad. That is what he needs the money for.

The skier promises to publish a detailed budget of his ongoing expenses and keep fans posted about all the stages of preparation through his social media accounts.
