Belarus signed the Customs Code of Eurasian Economic Union (EaEU) on April 11, reports ria.ru quoting Dzmitry Nekrasov, director of customs laws department at Eurasian Economic Commission.

Nekrasov says the Customs Code was recently filed with Eurasian Economic Commission and will soon be published on their official website.

Other EaEU member states signed the code at the head of states summit in December 2016. Belarus president Aliaksandr Lukashenka skipped the summit citing disagreements with the economic bloc's customs code.

Several days ago, Belarusian Foreign Ministty's spokesman Dzmitry Mironchyk did not rule out that Minsk could sign the deal soon but would not elaborate on the exact date.

Eurasian Economic Union unites Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
