Belarus ranked 78th in prosperity among 104 countries

Belarus

holds the 78^th spot in Legatum Institute's prosperity ranking of 104 countries. Of the CIS countries, Kazakhstan holds the highest spot, 56, followed by Russia, 54^th, and Ukraine, 68^th,, the newspaper Vechenii Kharkiv reports.

The 2008 Legatum Prosperity Index is based on 44 different indicators analyzed across 104 nations around the world.
