Belarus has taken the 51st position in the list of failed states.
The rating is drawn up in the The Failed States Index 2007 report published by the Foreign Policy magazine. Among the European nations, only Bosnia and Herzegovina (54th) and Georgia (58th) are below Belarus.
Moldova is named as the most unstable European country. Sudan, Iraq and Somalia are described as the most unstable countries in the world. The report authors analyzed 12 political, military and social performance indicators, reports Regnum.
