Belarus kids arrive for holidays in Italy

The first group of the Belarusian children arrived for holidays in Italy. 315 kids were flown by two chartered airliners on May 12.

Two days before the trip, Italy and Belarus had signed in Minsk a new deal that regulates conditions of the stay of the Belarusian children in Italy.

Belarus suspended traditional holiday travel of the Belarusian children last November after an Italian host family refused to return a Belarusian orphan girl back home, wishing to adopt her in Italy.

The deal envisages Italian government's guarantees for a secure stay of the Belarusian children in Italy.
