Belarus hopes to get 2 billion dollar credit from Russia

Belarus is interested in getting another Russian credit of 2 billion dollars. The deputy Minister of Finance of our country Andrei Harkavets informed about it, reports “Telegraph”.
A representative of the Ministry explained that the first Russian credit that Belarus got in December 2007 was given to us on a very beneficial basis. Harkavets stressed that “it would be excellent to keep the same terms for the new credit”.

A source in the Russian government informed that Belarus had not officially addressed Russia with a request of a new credit at the end of December 2007.
