Belarus to get 32 APCs from Russia
Russia will supply to Belarus 32 BTR-82A, TASS reported, citing a source in the military-industrial complex of Russia.
Agreement on the deliveries was signed at the exhibition Russia Arms Expo 2015 which took place in Nizhny Tagil in September. Tass said that the Ministry of Defence of Belarus confirmed the delivery of Russian APCs, but did not specify the volume of the contract.
BTR-82A features the improved protection and firepower, as well as air conditioning. The machine has a 30-mm 2A72 automatic cannon and machine gun PKT 7.62 mm. Maximum speed of the armored vehicle on the highway is 80 km/h. in the water - 10 km/h.
