Belarus activist's daughter in kidnapping ordeal (video)

NOn July 27 Natallia, 16 came outdoors for a morning jogging exercise. When doing pull-ups, she was approached from behind by an unidentified person who hit her in ther head. The girl regained consciousness only two hours later in a forest some 20 km off Babrujsk. Her mobile phone, keys and shoes were missing. The clothes were torn and mackled in black paint.



According to Aksana Salianiuk, the spokesperson for Mahilyou regional branch of Investigatory Committee of Belarus, investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators. Ms Salianiuk also said the girl was admitted to a hospital for medical checks. During admission, no visible injuries were spotted on the victim, she said. Investigatory Committee possesses no further information on this incident yet, but a criminal case was opened, she stressed.
