BCD activists detained in Brest

They were detained after a meeting with the Ukrainian consul general in Brest on March 25, the BCD ropes service reports.

Two driving inspectorate cars were expecting Dzmitruk and Shurhai near the consulate. Driving inspectors claimed that the activists’ cars had been reported to be on the list of stolen cars. Dzmitruk and Shurhai were detained.

Dzmitruk’s detention is caused by the fact that he has headed the Committee on Solidarity with Ukraine recently, BCD co-chairperson Pavel Sevyarynets thinks.
