BATE-Yuventus match tickets getting bought out by second-hand dealers

Tickets to the most prestigious sectors have already disappeared before appearing in Minsk and in Barysau. As ERB has found out, there is no limit imposed on the number of tickets that can be bought by one person so many people are buying a hundred  at a time. Ticket offices of a Minsk stadium “Dynama” cannot offer tickets to the match of the Champions League. They only have the cheapest tickets to the super football – 5 thousands a ticket. And they will also disappear soon. Minskers who did not manage to buy tickets visited Barysau today and yesterday.

According to the press secretary of BATE Dzyanis Sarokin, there have never been such queues in the town. There were 200 or 300 people waiting near the stadium in the morning. You had to queue for 1.5-2 hours to buy a ticket.

“It is not a queue for Barysau – it is a babel!”

Meanwhile, queues in Minsk were long too. Some people spent 3.5 hours in them. Those who have managed to reach ticket offices bought as many tickets as they could. This is what fans are writing on the website of “Pressball”:

“I queued for 3 hours and 15 minutes yesterday. I bought 48 tickets as all of my friends will come. I am not a second-hand dealer”.

However, there are second-hand dealers. According to Sarokin, many people bought 100 or even 150 tickets and are offering them at a higher price now.

“People are selling tickets on the Internet, on forums. Tickets costing 5 thousands are offered for 15-20 thousands”.

Dzyanis Sarokin has noticed that the best tickets did not even reach Barysau. The information about tickets to central sectors is a real mystery.

“As far as I know, tickets to central sectors cannot be bought anywhere. There were not available in Minsk and only a few second sector tickets could be bought in Barysau. Nobody knows who has bought tickets to central sectors!”

By the way, even fans from Madrid will be able to sit in the 11th sector. It is close to central sectors but there is no tent over it. As ERB has found out, tickets to central sectors are being distributed for payment on account to state enterprises: BATE partners and ordinary plants. For example, Minsk tractor plant offers tickets to its employees at half the price. Will workers go if it is raining?

The administration of BATE will discuss the ticket issue as soon as it arrives from Madrid tomorrow. But they are not likely to help fans. All tickets have already been sold out.
