Baby son born into Giusto-Barnaccin family in Italy

A baby boy, named Emmanuel, has been born into the Giusto-Barnaccin family in the Italian sity of Genoa. Vika Moroz, a Belarusian orphan girl, would normally spend her summer breaks with this family.  After the Italian hosts refused to return the girl to her orphanage in Belarus and tried to hide her for 12 days, the authoririties found the girl and brought her back to this country. Late last year, Vika was adopted into a Belarusian family that had already fostered her older brother.

Under the Belarus laws, orphans that are fostered by one family together with their siblings are not eligible for international adoption.

The Giusto-Barnaccin family does not lose hope that Vika Moroz would be reunited with them. They call the girl their daughter, according to Radio Svaboda.
