Ukraine: Pro-government journalist Yuri Kot beaten by strangers
Unknown men beat heavily journalist Yury Kot who appeared as a Master of Ceremony at the Antimaidan concert for Yanukovich supporters on Saturday.
The journalist was beaten not far from his house on Sunday evening, liga.net reports. His legs and body was severely injured. His nose, ribs and back were broken. However, he refused to go to hospital.
The other details are being investigated.
Yury Kot dislikes Euromaidan. Speaking at the concert at Antimaidan, he said that he and his family members had been assaulted with violence.
