Anatol Lyabedzka to stand trial in Minsk today
The leader of the United Civil Party is accused of violating the rules of conducting mass actions.

The politician was detained when leaving his house on January 12. He spent 7 hours at the police office. A report about January 5 action was drawn up. Lyabedzka and head of the campaign For Fair Election Victar Karnyayenka were collecting signatures in support of the abolition of the car tax in Minsk. Lyabedzka is facing a fine of 50 base amounts (6.5 million roubles) or an arrest.
