Amount of damages in Chyzh’s case – Br238.7 billion

Сума ўрону па справе Чыжа складае 238,7 млрд недэнамінаваных рублёў

The amount of damages in the criminal case started against businessman Yury Chyzh totals almost 12 million dollars (Br237.8 billion), KGB chief Valery Vakulchyk told journalists after finishing his report to Alyaksandr Lukashenka.

Vakulchyk also spoke about the criminal case started against Uladzimir and Kazbek Yapryntsaus and Alyaksandr Arabyan.

“The investigation of the criminal case is over. Everything is clear about Kazbek and Arabyan. However, the part played by Uladzimir Yapryntsau is ambiguous.  He is not accused of fraud directly. He helped the fraud. He was helping his son solve his problems by signing Triple warranties without having the power to do so,” BELTA quotes Valery Vakulchyk.

Yury Chyzh was arrested by KGB on suspicion of major tax evasion on March 11. Having been reported by Yury Chyzh and Russian partners, Uladzimir Yapryntsau was detained in the summer of 2015.
