Ammonia upsurge at Ukrainian plant Stirol, 5 dead
The upsurge occurred during major repairs of the plant in Gorlovka, Donetsk District.
The accident was liquidated in 20 minutes but there are victims, podrobnosti.ua reports. According to the preliminary information available, a breach in the ammonia line caused it. Five workers died. The information is being specified now.
The reason for the incident is being investigated by a special commission.
