Activist resisting Homel authorities in court because of forbidden meeting

The Central District Court of Homel has admitted that the refusal of the City Executive Committee to allow organization of a meeting against the cancellation of benefits was lawful. He declined the appeal of a local activist Pyotr Kuznyatsou yesterday.
The appeal to organize the meeting was sent on May 4. Ten days later the city authorities informed Kuznyatsou that they refused to allow the meeting referring to the law on mass actions.

The District Court refused to consider the appeal of the activist for several months until it was obliged to do it by the Regional Court.

Pyotr Kuznyatsou says he is going to appeal the decision of the Central District Court of Homel in the Regional Court and even in the Supreme Court and the UN Human Rights Committee if necessary.
