About 160 cars gathered at “Varshauski Most” check-point

More than 160 cars have gathered at the “Varshauski Most” border check-point in Brest. Our reporter Alyaksei Murlanau informs about details:

“100 cars are waiting for their turn at a special parking place. The rest have formed a line in front of the terminal. A driver Vasil Ihnatsuik from Minsk is going to Warsaw to visit his daughter. He thinks he will not be able to cross the border earlier than tomorrow morning.

It is cold outside; drivers are warming their engines and drink coffee and tea. Another driver who refused to tell us his name said that he was transporting diesel oil to Teraspol. He has other terms for crossing the border.

The ERB reporter found out that a professional diesel oil trader could cross the border several times a day. The rules of declaring the fuel in his petrol tank are not an obstacle for him.

A Pole Tomak visited his business partners in Brest. He is worrying about hours passing. His Ford has not even approached the turnpike yet.

Even the automatic system of passport control installed at “Varshauski Most” is not enough to accelerate the border crossing.
