16:40 Vincuk Viacorka found guilty; releaved from punishment

The leader of the Party of the Belarusian Popular Front, Vincuk Viacorka, has been found guilty by a district court in Minsk of petty hooliganism. However, he was releaved from punishement, because the charges were minor, according to the court ruling on Wednesday. Viacorka was detained on March 13 inside his entrance to the block of flats he is residing with his family.

According to police witnesses, the politician was cursing dirty in presence of his underage daughter. He was later taken to a police station, and an administrative offence protocol was filed.

After Viacorka failed to show up at his trial scheduled on March 23 due to illness, the hearing was postponed for April 4.
