About two thousand people participated in the meeting at Chistye Prudy Avenue. The meeting lasted for about half an hour. 10 buses with members of special police troops arrived a little bit later and pushed the people towards the underground station.
Such politicians as Mihail Kosyanov, Irina Hakomada and a writer Victor Shenderovich made speeches at the meeting.
Let us remind you that the action’s participants had been severely beaten by the police on their way to the gathering spot. Two people received head injuries.
Official sources announced that about 170 people got detained during the meeting, reports a Russian web site Грани.ру.
