The Belarusian representative at the musical contest “Eurovision-2007” almost got into an accident. The singer Zmitser Kaldun nearly got run over by a car in Moscow. He took the risk of crossing a busy street in the daytime and his lack of foresight almost led to a tragedy.
Kaldun stepped on the street, carelessly looked around and almost got run over by a Mazda 3: the singer’s legs got under the car wheels, report Russian mass media. The singer was shocked and couldn’t say a word.
Fortunately, his producer Іryna Kandratstseva appeared to be there and she helped the singer get to hospital where his wound was debrided. Then the frightened Zmitser was allowed to go home for out-patient treatment, reports the web site “Belaruskі partyzan”.
