Young Belarusian singer wins “Children’s New Wave” contest

A young singer from Belarus has won the first international contest of pop singers “Children’s new Wave-2008”. The final took place in Moscow concert hall “Cosmos” on Saturday. The jury decided that Belarusian Kristina Svyatlichnaya was the best among the youngest participants (from 8 to 12 years old). The second and third positions were occupied by singers from Tajikistan and Germany. 18 singers from 12 countries took part in the contest, reports ITAR-TASS.
