CEC: Preparations for parliamentary election 80% complete

Preparations for the parliamentary election in Belarus is in full swing and 80% complete, CEC chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna said before the seminar dedicated to the participation of the pro-governmental public organization Belaya Rus in the election campaign. 

“We are getting ready for the election, 80% of all the events have been prepared. If the election had to be held in a few days, we would be ready to finish everything,” BELTA quotes Yarmoshyna as saying.

The CEC will gather on May 17. That is when the date of the polls may be announced, according to Yarmoshyna.
