Yarmoshyna: OSCE/ODIHR appropriates punitive functions

The chairperson of the Central Election Commission Lidziya Yarmoshyna thinks that the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights organizing international election observation missions appropriates punitive functions.

She thinks that OSCE observers appropriate the functions overstepping the limits of the whole idea of international monitoring. In the opinion of the CEC chairperson, it is interference in the state sovereignty, reports the TUT.BY portal quoting Yarmoshyna.

Let us remind you that the OSCE gave a negative account of the presidential election in Belarus on December 20. The evening of December 19 marred by mass disorders and detentions was mentioned among the negative moments.
