Yarmoshyna: Officials will see that nothing bad happens when everything is allowed
“The liberalisation and democratisation of the election process” will continue in Belarus, CEC chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna told Euroradio.
Yarmoshyna: "A presidential election is always ‘like a blast of opportunities’ in Belarus. It may be because the President himself controls it. Everyone knows it. However, the local authorities are allowed to make their own decisions during elections.”
Officials will see that nothing bad happens when everything is allowed, Lidziya Yarmoshyna thinks. On the contrary, there are fewer conflicts, the CEC chairperson said.
