Yanukovych urges EU to elaborate aid program to Ukraine together
The president of Ukraine has said this at the plenary session of the Eastern Partnership summit.
According to him, RIA Novosti quotes, Kyiv and the EU should elaborate the program of economic aid to the country, which would let the Ukrainian authorities prepare to signing of the Association Agreement properly.
Last week, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers decided to suspend signing of the agreement with the EU. According to Yanukovych, Ukraine found itself face to face with serious economic and financial problems.
According to Yanukovych, Ukraine should prepare not only to timely signing of the Association Agreement, but to minimization of the negative consequences of the starting period. Least protected Ukrainians will feel these consequences in the first place.
