Woman eats $50 at customs in Brest

A customs officer in Brest who was proposed a marked $50 banknote as a bribe, has already been sentenced to seven and a half years in prison. He failed to escape prosecution even after he resorted to resistance when undercover agnets tried to arrest him.
The former customs officer threw a computer monitor to the agents and then overturned the desk. Having distracted the agents, he tossed the money into the window where his colleague picked it.

The latter passed it over to an unknown woman who threw the money into a van. A female van passenger ate the money together with some pastry.

The convicted officer is going to appeal the sentence.
