Minsk half marathon winner disqualified for doping

Belarusian athlete Lyudmila Lyahovich (maiden name - Kavalenka) has been disqualified for anti-doping rule violations, according to the website of Belarus Athletics Federation.
 

The athlete violated anti-doping rules in the period between December 11, 2010 and April 11, 2014.

The disciplinary commission of Belarus Athletics Federation has disqualified the athlete for two years – from October 31, 2017 until October 30, 2019. Lyahovich’s achievements between June 27, 2012 and April 10, 2016 have been cancelled.

Lyahovich represented Ukraine until 2014. She gowas granted the right to represent Belarus in 2017. In 2017, she won a gold medal in the 10km team total in European Cup and Minsk half marathon.
