Will Putin bring 1 billion dollars to Minsk?
The issue of allocation of a stabilizing credit to Belarus will be discussed during Vladimir Putin’s visit to Minsk. The Minister of Finance of our country Mikalai Korbut has informed about it.
Let us remind you that Putin will pay a 2-days visit to Belarus on December 13. Korbut drew attention to the fact that the issue of allocation of the credit this year may be decided only till December 25, reports “Interfax”.
Let us note that Belarus started “pressing for the 1 billion dollar stabilizing credit” from Russia at the beginning of 2007. Alyaksandr Lukashenka claimed that Vladimir Putin had personally promised him the money.
The Belarusian government also hopes to get half a billion dollars from Russia next year.
