Will deputies of the House of Representatives go to labour exchange in autumn?
Syarhei Haidukevіch knows that he will continue working as a deputy and will become President later. Volha Abramava has received interesting offers from Russia. Maria Hudaya does not want to be a deputy anymore and would prefer working in a women’s civil organization. Victar Huminski will work for “Belaya Rus” if he fails to become a deputy of the next convocation. A deputy Vasil Hrol is already working in Moscow. A deputy of the House of Representatives, the leader of the LDPB Syarhei Haidukevich has already made plans for at least 10 years – he will become a deputy of a new convocation this year and, according to him, he will become President in 2010. Speaking about his colleagues in the Oval Office, the politician assured ERB that the state had never let down devoted “people’s servants”. It will offer good jobs to some of them and provide others with honourary pensions.
Syarhei Haidukevіch: “Many states including ours avoid throwing about the potential many officials have. In fact, the state needs them. Speaking about those who lack the knowledge and popularity, of course they are trying to find placement. However, you should take into account that nobody will hire you if you are above 60. But they are guaranteed honourary pensions”.

Syargei Kastsyan: “All of them were offered placement and they are satisfied with it. The state has never let such people down. Moreover, most of them got jobs they liked. However, 99% of the people did not get used to Minsk and returned home. Despite those who were hired by the Council of Ministers and the President’s Administration”.
A deputy Volha Abramava has not considered taking part in the coming elections yet. But she is sure she will not remained unclaimed if she does not want to return to the Oval Office. She says she has received interesting offers from Russia.
Volha Abramava: “I have a lot of job offers. Including some offers from Russia. I have been receiving interesting offers from Russia during all the 16 years of being involved in politics”.
The head of the Belarusian civil association “Apple” has never thought about the future of her colleagues.
The deputy head of the national security commission, deputy head of “Belaya Rus” Victar Huminski is not going to say goodbye to the position of a deputy either. He will take part in the elections. Just like all of his colleagues who are members of the presidential organization.

The deputy head of the deputy commission on problems of Chernobyl disaster, ecology and nature management Maria Hudaya thinks that deputies, especially young ones, should not aim for being elected for the second or the third time. She says they should get their experience and continue working.
Maria Hudaya: “I personally think that people, especially those who are young, should be deputies only once. They should acquire experience and continue working in the executive power or other institutions and ministries. It should not be a sinecure”.
She has been a deputy four times. However, she does not want to take part in elections anymore. She would like to work for a civil association “International Women’s Union “Unity”. According to her, the state helps former deputies to find placement but she thinks that it could help better.
Maria Hudaya: “I would not say it provides 100% assistance. I accuse the administration of the House of Representatives of it – they should protect the interests of the people and think about their opportunities of expressing themselves. A person who has been a devoted deputy and was a reliable colleague before it will be noticed and offered some kind of placement”.
A political scientist Alyaksei Shautsou worked as an assistant of Mikalai Charhinets in the Council of the Republic and had been working as an assistant of one of the deputies of the House of Representatives for 4 years. According to him, an official of such a rank and with such a coat-tail as a former deputy of the House of Representatives will be welcomed in any structure. Especially a commercial one.
Alyaksei Shautsou: “Deputies will not be jobless. Any company or organization will welcome them. Not only because they are specialists – they have well-established connections with state structures and organizations. That is why some people do not want to take part in the elections and would like to work in companies and other organizations of the kind”.
