Will anniversary of BPR be celebrated in office of Town Executive Committee in Baranavichy?

More than 300 signatures of inhabitants of Baranavichy have been sent to the local Executive Committee. Local activists are asking to allow the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Belarusian People’s Republic in the office of … the Executive Committee.
The head of Baranavichy affiliate of the Belarusian Language Association Vіctar Syrytsa told ERB that they had received refusals from all the five town houses of culture:

"We have sent another appeal asking for the assembly hall of the Executive Committee. We have attached 307 signatures of Baranavichy inhabitants to the appeal. We are hoping to get the hall because we celebrated the 75th anniversary of the BPR in the assembly hall of the Executive Committee in 1993”.

By the way, the current Mayor of Minsk Mihail Paulau, allowed local activists to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the BPR in a town house of culture when he was the head of Baranavichy in December 1997.
