WHO statistics: swine flu activity increases in Belarus
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the activity of the virus A/H1N1 is increasing in Belarus. It is connected with the distribution of seasonal flu. A spike of swine flu is registered in Belarus, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine, reports “Belarusian News”. The activity of swine flu in Russia is also high.
At the same time, the flu is drawing back in a number of countries in Western and Eastern Europe – Belgium, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway and Great Britain. A spike of the virus has also been left behind in North America.
According to the information distributed by the WHO, the number of lethal outcomes due to A/H1N1 has increased by one thousand in the world this week – to 8 thousand 768 people. Swine flu is registered in 207 countries and territories.
