The propaganda film White Legion of Black Souls was shown on the Belarus state television on the evening of April 12. It was dedicated to ‘the patriots’ case’ started by KGB against several dozen people – mostly members of the White Legion disbanded about 15 years ago.

A parallel between the White Legion, Nazis and the Belarusian Association of Military Men is drawn in the film. It was reported that the White Legion had been considering the possibility of terrorist acts in Moscow and training ‘shahids’ in the spring of 1996.

A terrorist act was supposed to be organized by suicide bombers in the crowd in Minsk on March 25, 2017, the film authors claimed.

“Frau A.” was also shown – a German citizen originating from Belarus who claimed to have learnt about the preparation of mass riots in Minsk and wrote a letter to Alyaksandr Lukashenka.

The evidence given by detained Andrei Komlik-Yamatsin was also demonstrated in the film. He was explaining how he had been studying blasting assemblies.

Artists (singer Yarmolenka and actor Hastsyuhin) were the experts invited by the film authors.

KGB started a criminal case in connection of preparation of mass riots at first. Then it turned out that there was a case connected with the creation of an illegal armed unit. More than 30 people are involved in the case.
