Volski to sing “Dolce Vita” and Rusya to sing “Beyond” at “Eurofest”
Rock’n’roll singers have started choosing their songs for “Eurovision” together with ERB. “Neuro Dubel” has not decided on the song but “Parason” has joined in.
Lyavon Volski had no problems choosing a song. They are finishing the recording of their new song “Dolce Vita” these days. So the suggestion of the European Radio for Belarus was just in time.
Lyavon Volskі: “We have just recorded tracks, Andrei Babrouka is finishing them so your suggestion is just in time. I wrote the song and “Krambambulya” made the arrangement. The song is about things we cannot reach but always want. Its genre is easy and merry. It will probably become our new hit. We could even perform it at “Eurofest”.
Lyavon Volskі: “He wanted to live his life in a beautiful way
But somehow he lived it uneasily.
The boss is swearing at work,
And his wife turns him out of the house.
And he wanted the sea, palm-trees, a girl, bikinis, but the reality is harsh… The end is unexpected: everyone is alive, everything is good but the man was not satisfied”.
The leader of “Indiga” Rusya says they spent a whole night choosing their song. In the end they decided on “Beyond”.
Rusya: “The band “Indiga” gathered for the night to discuss our decision of selling a song at “Eurofest”. We decided that it will be the song we are preparing for our new album. It is “Beyond”. The song is easy to perceive and it differs from our band’s concept because we are usually rather hysterical. This is a very beautiful and positive song”.
Rusya also agreed to sing a few lines from the song.
Rusya: “Beyond futile words,
Beyond all conclusions….
Something like that”…
Upon a short reflection Sasha Rakavets from “IQ-48” chose the song “Glorious Spring” they are preparing for their new album.
Sasha Rakavets: “You need to choose such a song that will suit in there. It should be less alternative or something. I’d suggest the song “Glorious Spring” because I think it suits best”.
Here are several lines from the song Sasha says he wrote while smoking and drinking coffee when spring came.
Sasha Rakavets: “Windows have started sparkling, the wind smells good.
Winter has gone. Summer has come”.
The leader of “Palats” Aleh Hamenka has not decided which song to choose. He promised ERB that everything will be clear within the next two days.
Unfortunately, “Neuro Dubel” will not be able to take part in the action organized by ERB. According to Alyaksandr Kulinkovich, his band does not have a song that has not been sold on discs. This fact and the fact that the song should not have been broadcasted on TV or radio is the main term of the contest.
Alyaksandr Kulіnkovіch: “We do not have a song like that taking into account we are presenting our album today. So all the songs we have are already recorded”.
The band “Parason” also joined the ERB’s initiative. According to the guitarist Vital Zyblyuk, they have recently recorded a new song “Hands” that has not been sold on discs or broadcasted yet.
Vіtal Zyblyuk: “It is a new song that has never been performed. It is called ‘Hands”. It’s a pleasure to join in the initiative of ERB and all Belarusian musicians”.
The guitarist refused to sing us a few lines from the song. He only said it was about love and will be performed at “Eurovision”.
