Vitsebskers stand up for stray animals
An action in defense of stray animals took place in Vitsebsk on March 21. It was organized by pupils and students interested in this problem.
Young people walked from the city zoo towards Lenin Street and gave out leaflets urging to be humane and not to abandon pets. Almost all passers-by welcomed the young volunteers and read the leaflets.
The participants of the action explained that all of them had pets. The majority of their pets are stray animals found in streets.
