Vitsebsk student suspected of murdering a dorm roommate
A 21-year-old student beat his 24-year-old room mate to death.
On the morning of December 22, Vitebsk police received information that the body of a 24-year-old student had been found at a local university dormitory.
After examining the scene and interviewing witnesses, law enforcement officers arrested a 21-year-old student of the same educational institution. The suspect and the victim lived in the same room. After sharing a drink, they quarreled. Then the younger student beat his older room mate who died on the spot.
The student had a criminal case for murder started against him, BelTA reports. The young man was detained. He is currently under investigation.
